Sales / General Manager - UK


An excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated, target driven, proactive leader to join a forward thinking and fast-growing company to take ultimate responsibility for the growth of the recruitment arm.

Our clients organisation is already on the PSL of some major financial institutions, and with numerous additional clients within related work-streams available to leverage, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a readily available pipeline of possible clients who seeks a leadership role and ambitions of being involved in shaping of corporate growth strategy.

This is a highly rewarded role and day to day responsibilities include:

  • Overall responsibility for front line recruitment sales and production of new business leads. Until such point that their team has grown to a level whereby the successful candidate feels they can continue the agreed growth plan without actually being involved in the front line sales, the successful candidate will be expected to lead front line sales
    *Overall responsibility for successfully reaching quarterly and annual sales targets agreed with line manager.
  • Working with the line manager to set overall and internal sales strategy and performance indicators.
  • Working with the line manager to set internal department performance targets, indicators and agreeing internal departmental bonus structure with line manager.

  • Overall responsibility for the placement of resources
  • Ensuring that cross-sale opportunities within other lines of business are escalated as appropriate to the line manager.

  • Ensuring that appropriate internal sales and recruitment training is provided for future reports and for reviewing and approving applications for training within their recruitment team.
  • Responsibility for team resource management, including interviewing, selection of and management of future recruitment team reports as and when agreed with line manager.
  • Ultimate responsibility for induction of new team members and holding individual team performance appraisals and assisting in setting out team members development plans

  • Presenting monthly performance figures and monthly team strategy report to line manager
  • Presenting quarterly and annual performance figures to directors
  • Handling all recruitment CRM issues and escalating any recruitment related, client or HR issues as required
  • Production of client reports and holding regular meetings with key individuals in the client organisation as agreed with the line manager.
