Our client is one of the world's largest fashion retailers that has expanded in 8 different store formats and now operate around 5000 stores in over 76 countries.
Profile:
• The candidate will have an ample knowledge of the textile market in Spain and abroad, including information about the latest trends, main competitors and prices
• Experience in making deals and negotiating with providers of the sector in Asia and East Europe
• Expert knowledge of textiles and their quality
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or the equivalent
• Fluent in English
Responsibilities:
• Work together with the Design Team to select the garments for the collection. When purchasing products for the collection:
- Decide the quantities to purchase
- Decide where the production is going to take place and select new providers and markets
- Decide prices, margins and delivery time
- Supervise the production process until all material is received
- Arrange the delivery due date and quantity of products to be sent to stores
• Supervise the sales, variance analysis and budgeting
• Keep up-to-date with the national and international competitors in relation to the product, price and global positioning
